Identity card
To be allowed to use the University sports of Bern, you will need a valid university student card or Unicard, or a valid University Sports card. The conditions for admission will indicate whether you are entitled to take advantage of the sports and physical activities programme.
The University Sports cards are valid for a period of 12 months or 2 or 5 years from the date of the request and do not include any course or competition fees, which are to be paid additionally.
The card costs will not be reimbursed and it is not possible to return the University Sports card in the case of accident, illness, holiday or other absence.
The pass is not automatically renewed upon expiration of its period of validity.
In order to become a member of a University Sports Club, you must contact the person responsible for the corresponding club directly.
A University Sports card can be applied:
- online
- over the telephone (at the University Sports registry)
- in person (at the University Sports registry)
- You are requested to bring: proof of identity (copy)
- The annual fee can be paid in cash or electronically with a Postcard or with Maestro card
